Pat Farmer just arrived at Pole. He "ran" from the coast of Antarctica to here in 18 days. He completed his journey of running pole to pole. In order to train for this endurance run, he ran 2 marathons a day for a year straight.

Amazing....my hero. Where are the pictures?
ReplyDeleteWow, just read about it, very impressive! Such a cool story thanks for sharing! Hope you are staying warm!
ReplyDeleteI finally got to read his web page, wow! That is almost un-human! Then again it is amazing what you can accomplish if you put your mind to it. I also like his GPS feature to track him when he is running,I could think of a couple ways that could be useful lol......and his support to the Red Cross and other foundations.... cool stuff!!!!..... I am sure you heard about the first women to ski across Antarctica solo...Felicity Aston a week ago...I read about it on MSN and ESPN, that to was also an awesome accomplishment...now it is your turn, maybe you can run it backwards pat your head, rub your tummy while skipping and signing a song from ABBA lol!:) So kidding! Stay safe-Marlon.
ReplyDeleteGreat story, most impressive work.
